The Café Canape in Ulm is a place of inclusion, rehabilitation and integration. With long opening hours and top quality products, the café attracts people from various communities and encourages everyone, including the elderly, people at risk of social exclusion and people with mental illnesses, to integrate and support one another.
The number of employees is steadily increasing. People with psychological or mental-health problems also regularly help out at the café. Rehabilitation associations, psychotherapists and parents, among others, are increasingly demanding inclusive spaces. The cost of care continues to grow. The Beurer-Foundation is here to help.
