Educational support for young refugees

Since the summer of 2024, the Beurer Foundation in Ulm has been offering educational support for young refugees. This support is divided into two groups, each with different priorities.

The language group focuses on improving language skills. The participants, who have already reached B1 level, meet weekly to develop their language abilities. In these sessions, a lot of talking and reading is done to boost the participants' confidence and language skills.

The other group is specifically aimed at young women who are either attending school or attending a German course. This group receives additional support to better cope with school requirements. Weekly meetings are also held here to discuss not only school topics but also general topics of life in Germany.

Both groups meet for 90 minutes a week to learn German and delve into various topics. The participants are highly motivated and strive to integrate quickly and improve their future prospects.
