Förderverein FortSchritt Ulm/Neu-Ulm e.V.

The Beurer-Foundation supports Förderverein FortSchritt Ulm/Neu-Ulm e.V., an association for cerebral disabled children in the region. The club has a daycare for approximately 20 children, and 2 classes that follow the conductive education model of teaching, where academic subjects are taught alongside conductive support for movement and posture.
Conductive therapy believes that the child should be taught holistically through activity-based and sensory-based lessons. These lessons are taught to the child by one person – the conductor – qualified in various subjects (i.e. physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, etc).
