By financing several training places for socially disadvantaged young people, the Beurer Foundation supports the CONCORDIA Vocational School, thus offering young adults a chance for independence and economic independence.
In the vocational school, the young people receive practical training for their professions as cook, waiter, baker, farmer and can live in the adjacent apprentice residence. In addition, the young people receive socio-pedagogical support and are prepared for the job market as part of the job coaching programme.
The support covers the following areas of development: school and vocational training, accommodation, social and psychological support, personal skills and employability, as well as leisure and extracurricular activities. The training programme lasts 10 months.
